Well, you’ve seen the inspiration and now I can’t wait to show you the real deal! Mara’s nursery turned out better than I imagined and it’s such a clean, functional space. I thought about adding more decorations and maybe a bookshelf but right now it’s just perfect for us.
Here’s a quick before (scary!). This room used to be
a place to throw random things and shut the door an office. As you can see, we rarely used the space and had way too much furniture. Plus, I hated the mirrored sliding doors on the closet.
And here’s the after!
We painted all three walls that weren’t exposed brick. In the closet we added peel and stick wallpaper and my dad built out a custom shelving unit.
I added some reflective gold wall stickers on this wall to add a little something extra.
Above the changing table, I’ve since mixed it up and used the wire to hold Mara’s headbands and hair accessories.
Here’s a quick rundown of the items in the room:
Glider and Ottoman: Babies R’ Us
End Table: Craiglist purchase I spray painted
Wall Stickers: Amazon
